Web-Based Reservations System Adds More Customized Enhancements to Support Distribution Strategy of Hotels
PARSIPPANY, NJ 2005-11-28 - TRUST International, a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD) and a global provider of reservation and distribution solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced the launch of Voyager CRS 7.0, the latest release of its central reservation system for the hospitality industry. Through continual technological development and ongoing enhancements to the CRS platform and the interfacing capabilities, Voyager CRS 7.0 provides TRUST's hotel clients with the functionality necessary to maximize performance in the global marketplace, without requiring large investments of time and money from the hotels themselves. The upgrades included in Voyager CRS 7.0, include a range of enhanced interfaces to online distribution channels, revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS), plus improvements to data maintenance, yield management capabilities, business intelligence and software tools and modules.
Voyager CRS 7.0 offers hotel companies one of the most advanced, flexible, web-based CRS systems available on the market. The enhancements are available to hotel clients for both the traditional full-service and self-service versions of the Voyager CRS system. As always, these enhancements will be made available to all customers immediately upon release. With the full service version, hotel clients can rely on TRUST's experts to build and maintain their electronic distribution content across worldwide distribution channels. The self-service version gives a hotel group's own operations department the sophisticated tools to control and maintain their distribution channels.
"Voyager CRS 7.0 further demonstrates TRUST's key role in managing the complexity of global distribution for our hotel group partners," said Richard Wiegmann, Chief Operating Officer, TRUST International and WIZCOM International Cendant Travel Distribution Services. "We will continue investing in the ongoing development of Voyager, and keep listening to feedback from our customer base to ensure Voyager CRS remains at the forefront of CRS technology. This move reinforces our belief that the best way to give travelers what they require is to make sure that suppliers get what they need too -- in this case, compelling technology that can automate the hotel reservation process and provide hoteliers with a single view of inventory," concluded Mr. Wiegmann. |
