TRUST International , a division of Cendant Corporation (NYSE:CD) and a global provider of technology and distribution solutions for the hospitality industry, and Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts, today announced the renewal of the service agreement that was originally signed in 1997, that provides Moevenpick hotels with access to Voyager CRS, TRUSTs state-of-the-art Central Reservation System (CRS). Voyager CRS gives the hotels access to a valuable suite of products and services, including Global Distribution System (GDS) and Internet Distribution Channels (IDS) connectivity, an internet booking engine, data maintenance tools, business intelligence modules, centralized commission payments and global communication centers.
Voyager CRS is one of the industrys most innovative and comprehensive web-based reservation systems, providing hotel companies with a strategic advantage over their competitors CRS systems through high performance, innovative data processing. Seamless next generation functionality connects Voyager to all GDS systems including Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus and Worldspan. In addition, Voyager connects to an expanding portfolio of online channels such as Expedia or Revenue Management System (RMS) programs for processing hurdle rates, which supply travel agents with real-time availability and rate information for its hotels.
